My hair is not curly anymore?

My hair is not curly anymore?

The front of your hair is the most pulled, touched, styled part for any girl therefore it has straightened a bit due to all the pulling and styling.

I'm assuming your hair was naturally curly but a bit frizzy before you got the perm. Perms should be done once every 6-12 weeks. I would just perm the front of your hair again and maybe put some silicone in your hair to add shine.

African American hair is usually pretty dry therefore I would also use a great conditioner like Matrix's conditioning balm. I love this product.

Since the front of your hair gets more "action" it is common for that part to straighten quicker than the rest. Simply reperm the front only.

How long is your hair? If it is at least down to your chin or shoulders, the perm is still on the ends of the hair. This can make the curl different or make it go away. Also, sometimes your hair texture can change. If you were going through purberty, had a child, or went through menopause that can be very likely. Your hormones could have changed even if you didn't go through one of those. I suggest using Redken Fresh Curls shampoo and conditioner and Redken Ringlet. You need to put the Ringlet on your hair after you shampoo and condition. It's an awesome styling product (you can use it on ethnic hair or fine hair) that prevents frizz, defines the curls, and feels soft. It won't make your hair stiff or sticky. This can help the front of your hair define any body or curls you have there. The shampoo and conditioner will help bring out any wave or curl you have in your hair. This should help even your texture out a lot. If you had a relaxer, not a perm you will just have to grow it out. If you actually had a perm, you could perm it again to help with the curls in the front. It would make all your curls an even texture. You cannot perm over relaxed hair though.
