How do you get big curly hair?

Okay, my hair is not as thick as most and when I curl my hair I always have it curly at the bottom but the top stays flat how do I make my hair big and curly like spiral curls without it looking limp at the top?

when you are making your hair curly never do it on freshly washed hair cause it will soon fall out .always spray a bit of hair spray on your hair before putting heated rollers or tongs in and make smaller sections in your hair.

Try a root lifter. It does just like the name would suggest...gives your hair height at the root. When the hair is lifted at the root it will naturally have more volume everywhere. My favourite one is Matrix Amplify Root Lifter.

Also, when you blow dry your hair with your diffuser, make sure you do it upside down....this creates tons of body :)
