wow i think we have the same hair. dont over dry it before styling (wether thats curly or straight) i leave mine for no longer than 5 minutes in a towell before applying curling creme AND a serum to fight frizz. i then flip my head over and scrunch, flip it back to normal and dry it under my diffuser attachment, touching as LITTLE as possible (touching too much makes frizz too!).

when its about 85% dry i turn off the diffuser, do my make up, get dressed, etc, and by then its pretty much dry and taking on curls. i find that too many curls can be overwhelming so i pin a few back at their ends with bobby pins (which i can hide under the other curls) and head out to start the day!

by the way if your doing a curly look, dont shower at night, do it in the AM so you can make curls and not squish them as you sleep!

Yeah, I had thick curly hair halfway down my back. was always a hassle to look after. Last week I went in and got a short back and sides. It's really freaked everyone out.

I have very tight curls, I usually use a thick conditioner and only rinse out half of it. When I style my hair I put a little more conditioner on the parts of my hair that dry up quickly. It keeps it soft and easy to manage. As for drying I usually part rough dry my hair after I wash it.

I have/had those problems with naturally curly/thick hair that stays wet until the next day. I had to have my hair thinned by a salon then I invested in the conair infiniti ceramic professional flat iron to straighten my hair when needed. I also use sunsilk anit-poof S %26amp; C. NEVER BLOWDRY YOUR HAIR. I cant say that enough it causes more frizz. You should invest in a really good frizz reducing serum. Check out qujidad website, they make hair products for curly hair. I have red, full, curly hair which also frizzes like crazy.

I've discovered Curl Life spray gel by Matrix. After I get out of the shower and comb my hair (never ever brush) I spray it on and the curls stay nice and tight and pretty fizz free throughout the day.

For the most part, I either have my hair down, in a pony tail or in a bun (military).

Yes I have the same problem...lol... Always wake up w/wet hair or if it dries up I look like a lion...lol... Try using a after shower conditioner...

yea, except my hair is almost black and wavy. i use lots of deep conditioners. i also drink TONS of water and only shampoo my hair 2-3x a week (shampoo strips hair of natural oils.) usually my hair is either in cornrows, half-up and half-down, or in a side ponytail.

well my hair is not curly more like wavy but it is thick and does frizz when i dont blow dry or straighten...... my advice to you is to get a good shampoo and then if you havent tried you should get Silk Therapy by Biosilk, it really helps the frizz, maybe you can straigthen it , i would suggest the Chi iron it cost about $130.00 but its worth every penny, if you dont want curly hair.......

i wear mine down with some oil just spritzed

mine doesn't hold water so much but

blow dry it on the cool setting so that it doesn't frizz

to wear curly...pat w/ towel to get most water out- use a leave in conditioner and a light mousse. Only enough mousse to keep in place, not to make your hair stiff.

to wear straight - towel/air dry as much as possible (much beter than a blow dryer)...also i have wet-to-straight flat iron that works wonders...by conair....it drys and straightens at the same time...love it!

Okay--- when you shower use this shampoo that straightens with conditioner (it doenst "straighten" tho)

Use Dove Defrizzizer (sp?)

and Dove Curl.

It looks really fabulous with waves... :-)

I put mine up in a high ponly tail sometimes and let my layers fall out and straighten out the layers that fall.
