Tell me something good about CURLY hair!!!?

I have curly hair that's more on the frizzy %26amp; messy side than the sexy, loose curls side. And I'm starting to live a very depressing, sad life because I think my frizzy hair makes me look super ugly.

I have dark brown hair, and there was a time when I really wanted blonde hair. But when I asked a question on Y!A titled "Tell me something good about DARK BROWN hair!!!" I got very positive comments that made me love my brown hair.

So now can you please tell me good things about the style of my hair? Thank you for all you answers.

well it is easier to handle like for instance i have had a perm and it was very curly and now its stick strait yes i prefer it strait but there were good things and bad things about both. curly dont take as long. you dont have to worry about a piece being out of place.you can get frizzez (hair product) and it will not be frizzy any more.when you put it up it looks really cute and alot of people are making there hair like that for the messy look. if you really hate and i mean really hate go to a salon and get it permanatly straitened.

Everyone is secretly jealous of your hair. I promise. I know because I have boring straight hair, and there's no way any type of iron will keep it curly for more than 5 minutes...

There are definitely products out there that you can use to make your hair not so frizzy...if you go to a good hair salon they can point you in the right direction.

Curly hair is soooo fun and unique and you should appreciate it!!! :( I wish I had it!

i have naturally curly hair too and i used to hate it.

but the thing is, i decided it sets me apart from other people.

not everyone has the amazing springy fun hair that we do. its unique and trust me, there are so many people out there who want curly hair and spend a bunch of money perming it.

and if you want to make your hair less frizzy, try a little moose (sp?) or gel. it helps keep it in control.

you get great body, the light reflects great shades so you don't look like a monotoned blob and you can make really funky hairdos out of what you have...also, being I have kinda unruly curly sometimes wavy sometime bi-polar hair...finding the right product for my hair made all the difference and really made me love my curls. I use the "Curls Rock" line from Tigi (from the shampoo to the spray) with a little diffuser power from my hair dryer and I look like a rock star instead of "finger in a socket girl":)

Get some bed head de-frizz lotion, put it in when you get out of the shower, then add some mouse, tip your head upside down, and start scrunching towards your scalp with your fingers. Its easy to tame frizzy curls and make them look gorgeous. If you are really self conscious, go to a salon and have a stylist who specialized in CURLS to cut your hair so it flatters your face and has some shape to it. You will notice a HUGE difference.

It adds character. Instead of having limp straight hair and having to worry about styling it all the time, curly hair is a style all in its own! I love curly hair! My hair is naturally curly and I'm so glad it is because I can just quickly run a straightener over it to make it straight or let it go curly. The truth is a lot of straight hair won't hold a curl so it's harder to try different styles. Hope this helped! Curls are beautiful, learn to love them! :)

By the way - there are products you can use to tame the curls and make them less frizzy. Something that helps my curls is Herbal Essence totally twsited shampoo and conditioner then when its damp i scrunch some hair serum in my hair. DON'T COMB your hair once it's dry and avoid too much rubbing with the towel because that causes frizz as well. Good luck! :)

my sister (shes 17) has the curliest hair i've ever seen and it kills me because my hair won't curl AT ALL!

she's always complaining about it but it looks so pretty and it's so different from everyone else's super straight hair

and i loooooove fixing her hair! she can pull of these really cute and messy hairstyles that don't work well with straight hair

you never have to curl it ..or perm it..you really don't have to bother it too much at all.it probably curls very seductively around your face and neck ( if its short) and brown hair just has a healthy , shiny look about it that blonde can never have. If you feel it is too frizzy buy some of the de-frizz products that are in the hair care at your favorite store. Stay natural and knock them dead! You can do it!

actually it is luckier to have curly hair than straight. if you have curly hair, you can do many styles- striaghten it (chi straightening irons work great for even the curliest hair! seriously they work so fast), you can use gel and diffuse it with a blow dryer to make it even more curly, you can leave it curly, you can add a little gel or moose to hold the curl and keep out the frizzies and show off the beautiful curl.

dark, brown curly hair is what all classic beauties have. most girls on hair commercials have brown hair-it is considered sexier.

so basically, you have sexy, versatile (hope i spelled that right-it's supposed to mean flexible, can do lots of things and styles) hair. lucky you!

Dead straight hair is boring! And if you want your hair straight occasionally, you can just straighten it! Straight hair looks bad curled.

Curly hair also gives your face a lot more character. =)

Do you know how much people pay for curly hair? Im a hairdresser, natural curly hair is great, cos you get the option of keeping it natural, products always help, like a serum to help control it, or straightening it with ghd's etc... You always have nice full bouncy hair. Try being 29 with fine fluffy baby hair that you cant do a thing with except keep it short! My 2 year old has more hair than i do! :)
