My hair is about an inch or two below my chin, it's got flyaways, and I have bangs that I sweep to the side. My hair is really curly, but in the front and top, its more frizzy and undefined. I need some products and a routine that I can use that won't consume too much time or money.
Frizzy, browm, curly hair, how to tame without straightening?
Dont go out and buy anything expensive.
First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)
Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)
Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)
Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short
Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!
The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower
You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.
When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years
You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

Sunsilk De Frizz.

The easiest thing for you would be mousse. Or hair gel. Whichever works better for your hair. Put the mousse in your hair before it dries and it will define your curls. It will also tame the frizz.

What do I know? Ask a professional hairdresser. They know which products work for what type of hair.
Frizzy, browm, curly hair, how to tame without straightening?
I would use, as a hairdresser, a product by TIGI. The Curls Rock line. All of it from Shampoo to hairspray. It all works great for curly, frizzy hair. When you get out of the shower use the leave in Moisturizer. That will help keep the moisture in. Then use the curl booster spray. After that use the curl amplifier. It's a cream, and that will help to define your curls. Also. After that flip your head upside down and scrunch from your ends to your roots. This will help the top to not be as "flat" and it will get the curls on top to be more defined. Afterwards, if you have a diffuser, use it while your head is flipped upside down. After you get done with that, use the hairspray and then use a shine spray. That will help to keep your hair looking shiny and healthy. This will only take about 5-10 minutes maximum in the morning. Also don't dry your hair all the way. It will cause it to be frizzier. If you need anymore help, please feel free to ask.

First of all...find a really good shampoo and conditioner combo. They don't even have to be by the same company. You will have to try some out. Tresemme always makes awesome conditioners. Try the remoisturize formula. As for shampoo...you have to kind of shop around. It is also great to mix it up a bit (don't always use the same brands more than two to three months. Try other brands of shampoos (the hair sort of goes, "Awe...I see...she's using the same ole, same ole...it is usually down hill from there. You can go back to your favorites once and a while, but do "trick" your hair or it becomes immune. Sounds crazy, but it is true. That is why they call it Trickology [I'm not quite sure how they spell that]). Leaving some of the conditioner in your hair also keeps it a lot softer. Don't keep all of it in. Rinse some of it out, or your hair will feel stiffer than desired. Overall, lots of vitamin rich shampoos and conditioners with lots of moisturizers work best. Beware of some shampoos which claim to give you awesome results...these so-called shampoos only dry your hair more. You have to try some out for yourself. Not all hair types are the same. What works for me, may not work as well for you, so shop around a bit.
Using greasy hair dressing is also unfavorable. It coats the outside, but locks out vital vitamins from penetrating the inside. The result is dry damaged hair. I could go on and on on this subject, but I really need to be going. Drop me a line sometimes and I will fill you in on some things that have really proven favorable to me.

To cut frizz you need a frizz serum such as John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum. I would also reccomend the straightening shampoo and conditioner by Paul Mitchell.

I have naturally curly hair as well, and it took me forever to figure this out. here's what you do.
Go to a salon and get TIGI's Curls Rock Curl Amplifier.
Then go to CVS /a drugstore, and get Frizz Ease serum Extreme (in the purple bottle) and Sunsilk's Anti Poof Shampoo and Conditions and Sunsilks 24/7 Cream for both Anti-Poof and Defrizz (blue and green bottles.). Also, you can get hot oil, Alberto VO5 moisturizing and do this once a week for shinier hair.
Before entering the shower, heat up water in a microwave for 2 minutes, or until boiling. Then drop one of the hot oils in the boiling water. Leave it in there for about 2 minutes. Enter the shower and wet your hair. Open the hot oil and comb it through your hair. Leave in for one minute, then rinse out. Shampoo your hair, and rinse. Then comb about two quarter sized amounts of the conditioner into your hair, and leave in for about 4 to 5 minutes to moisturize. Then rinse the conditioner out with COLD water, which seals the cuticle of you hair, resulting in shine. After rinsing, turn the shower off, and squeeze your hair dry. Don't towel dry, cause it will cause excess frizz. Pump about 2 quarter sized amounts of Frizz Ease into your hand and comb it in from root to tip. Make sure you get to the back. Squeeze the water from your hair again. Fill your hand with equal parts of each type of Sunsilk, and comb it through your hair once again, focusing on the areas that tend to poof or frizz the most. Squeeze the excess water from your hair once again. Next, pump three squirts of Curls Rock Amplifier into your hand, and scrunch in throughout your hair. Once done, let your hair airdry. You can stick a towel between your hair and your clothes to prevent your clothes from getting wet. Never towel dry though. As it dries, if you find your hair frizzing, then use sunsilk defrizz to correct this. Try not to lie down during the drying, because it might squash the curls. You should have shiny frizz free curls once finished. If you want added spirals, get Redken Ringlet Cream and Garnier Fructis Hard Curl Pomade and a curling iron to add the spirals, but I find that my hair turns out great without an iron.
I guarantee this works for me. If you want something to straighten your hair, get Redkin Smooth Down Line. It works great. Hai irons work great, and I found one for $50 on ebay for you.
