Girls with curly hair...I've got tight curls, everyone says leave it, but..I need it straight!

My family and friends say, just leave it curly- like hey, it's your normal hair, but THEY are the ones with the stunning wavy hair, so it's not like they endure it and are saying that! When I straighten it with my Farouk CHI, after a day its stunning wavy, and I love it- but what do you do when you straighten, do you shampoo or condition extra? I hate when showering all of a sudden, here comes the curls..like I know its gorgeous, but not when they're frizzy and puffy and you cant even make out the curls really cuz its covered in frizz!

Okay if you want the curly without the frizz, you might wanna try this:

Get the Infusium 23 Frizz Shampoo, Conditioner,and Leave in treatment (if it is super frizzy get the Infusium 23 Frizz control intense infusier) and do what you would normally do (wash hair then condion, then the extra conditioner (optional) then after you get out of the shower put the leave in treatment in and run through with your fingers. you can put your hair in a bun and then sleep in it and your hair will be frizz free, also dont brush your hair when its wet (you probably have dry/brittle hair so when its wet and you brush it you create breakage therefore causing frizz) I HAVE THE EXACT SAME TYPE OF HAIR AND I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING THIS WORKS WONDERS!!!!

for straighter hair:

Straight hair use the matrix stuff that comes in the orange bottle called Straight.look (or Suave has a genaric of it called Suave Professionals that works like the matrix and is basically the same thing it even says it on the bottle) wash your hair with that and then straighten your hair, your hair will always go back to its natural form so its just something you will have to get used too, but what you can do is if you want the straighter/wavier look all you have to do is get a powder shampoo(its kinda expensive though) and after you straighten your hair when it starts to get greasy shake some of the powder shampoo onto your hair and brush through. and if you need to take a shower purchase a shower cap they are like $1-2 at walmart.

I have really curly it is impossible to manage. I know that feeling. The best way to do it is to use a Solia,m I use it and it works. To stop frizz you could put mouse on it. Also to make your hair less frizzy, you should try using more conditioner. It makes my curls silky and frizz-free. Trust me, this works great

use the chi oil..you can buy it in the salon where you bought your chi..my hair is like yours and the chi oil helps, but does COMPLETELY help..if you have tight curls you will just have to straighten a lot..like everyday..and use a weekly deep conditioner

I have a chi, before i straighen my hair i wash it with Tres emme shampoo anti-breakage then use the conditioner (for breakage protection). The I blow dry down into my hair to reduce the frizz, then after my hair is completely dry i straighen it one layer at a time. I also use Biosilk Silk Therapy Serum. Keeps my hair nice and straight!!!
