A curly inor? No wonder you aren't getting any results. Try using a CURLING IRON. If that doesn't work you should just give up and try Hooked On Phonics.

I have the same problem!!!! What I do is every......or most every evening is I put curlers in about 5-6 in. up and then just let it dry!!!!! but be sure your hair isn't soaking or it won't dry in time .......... let it be damp!!!

-There are many special products for curling hair, go browse around next time you go out shopping!

-When i want super curly hair, i used the hair rollers after i take a shower and before i go to bed. In the morning, i have perfect curls! Hair spray may also be helpful here!!!

my hair is EXACTLY the same..i hate itt but i go old school and use the rollers and these pins like they used in the 40s and 50s

also i do use a curling iron i put itt to the highest setting and used A LOT of hairspray and then i put garnier's soft curl pomade..

but usually i use the curlers but only at the bottom cuz i have a bettie paige haircut

mine is the same exact way. you must already have some natural wave to your hair, this is probably why it isn't taking. with damp hair put gel(i prefer LA looks) and scrunch it upside down for about 2 or 3 minutes then flip your head back up and then dry it using a diffuser. spray with Aussies freeze hold. always works for me!!!

You could use the curlers you sleep in, or you could use some curling gel after you shower and blow dry with a diffuser. Go here...........

What u do is take a shower, blow dry ur hair, brush it, then put gel on ur hair and rub it with both hands. U will get at least curly/wavy hair, That is, if u have long hair.

heres a few ways, besides a perm, but i dont know if you would want that......

buy those soft curlers and sleep in them. it is soooo easy and you save so much time in the morning. you just take them out and only brush the top of your hair otherwise you brush right through the curls. then use hairspray, not mousse. ive found that a great brand of hairspray is matrix hairspray. and for looser, messier curls, you separate each curl in two. it is a more casual, less shirley temple look. or you can just leave it and have ringlets....depends on your style and preference.

and if you shower in the morning, scrunch your hair with mousse and it looks pretty good but might get a little frizzy. but that kinda creates more of a curly/wavy look, so whatever....

and to get a curled, more voluminous ponytail, here is what you do. just put your hair up in a ponytail before bed, then put anywhere from 1-3 curlers in it (depending on how much hair you have and how thick it is and how big you want your curls) then when you wake up, roll them right out, and re-tie your ponytail holder and brush the top of your head, without brushing down the curls. you can put hairspray in if you want, but you might not even need to for just a ponytail.

My hair is VERY straight, and a curling iron also doesn't work for me. So, I went out and bought a spiral curling iron. It works REALLY great! If you want really good curls...you got it! Also, I like to do waves with my hair and this works wonders! I got mine at target, but I'm sure you can buy them at wal-mart or any other super store. I'll attach a link of a picture of one. THE IRONS PROBABLY ARE NOT HOT ENOUGH. YOU PROBABLY NEED PROFESSIONAL ONES. BUT PLEASE DON'T BURN YOUR HAIR OUT IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD THE SALON. USE ROLLERS, ON CLEAN SLIGHTLY DAMP HAIR, APPLY A SETTING GEL OR LOTION OR SPRAY THEN ROLL SIT UNDER HAIR DRYER OR ALLOW ENOUGH TIME TO DRY. THE HOT SET ROLLERS WORK WELL TOO. GOOD LUCK!
