Straight hair wants curly hair.?

my hair is thick and straight. i want to style it curly for a change but i dont want the wet "scrunched" look. I want dry curls all over my head. Do i use mousse or something? can get this look without curlers/irons? if i have to use some then i will. anyways im clueless!!!

ive always wanted curly hair, but i know if my hair was curly id want it straight lol!

try taking a shower at night and putting it in a bun with smoothing creme and mouse. blow dry it a little, adn then when u wake up, blow dry it again so its fully dry. then let it out and separate the curls with your fingers.

if you are going to curl it, use aerosol hair spray, and spray you hair BEFORE you curl it, and then again after you curl it, so the curl stays. for a dacne at school i got it done at the salon after the many attempts to do it myself, and when she put that kind of hair spray it actually stayed.

if you really want ur hair curly, go for a perm, but beware, once its curly then you have to wait for it to grow out!!

thats why i wont do my hair perm cuz im scared it wont look good!

if your hair is super straight you'll have to use some product and some curling irons. you wont be able to get that all over curly look with out them.

well it depend how u look with straight or curly hair, i have thick hair so some ppl think its better straight then curly, but some ppl think curly is better... it depends how u look with them, if you want culy hair then yeah use mousse but that going to leave it wet some what, after it get dry the it depends on the type of hair, or just use and iron for curly hair but i don't know if you want to burn ur hair or what but yeah mousse is good or iron, mmm go to a buety salon get it permitly done curly too

I have naturally wavy hair and to get it a little more wavy before I go to sleep I shower and shampoo/condition and I take my hair while it's wet and I twist sections up and secure with elastics and bobby pins so they're in tight little buns all over my head. It's a little hard to sleep on, but it works great. To style in the morning I just use John Frieda's Dream Curl spray.

Please I am just posting this as an advice. The safest way is to use iron curles, but not often. I used to have thick, straight as well, and I used to hate straight hair, but the mousse destroyed it. It turn broken, weak, and rough. It took years of treatment to have 80% of what I had. Don't throw your hair away. It is a blessing that you will not appreciate until it is gone.
