Please I'm totally desperate!!!

I have extremely curly long hair. Anybody knows a good and safe product or a place where I can make the curlies away for many months?

Keep it curly, using chemicals will just damage it. If you need to straighten it for a weekend or something, have a friend use a blowdryer and a round brush to straighten it temporarily. It'll be a little drier but not chemically processed. Using those straightening/anti-frizz shampoos and gels will help without hurting.

Cutting it shorter will also make it easier to manage, see a good stylist that knows hair - I'm talking salon, not Supercuts. I have naturally curly hair and if the stylist asks me if it's a perm, I get up and leave. Your best bet may be to find a stylist with curly hair, they know how to take care of it!

Some people would die for curly hair just like curly haired people would do anything for straight hair. Once it's straight you'll want it curly, etc. Just find ways to enjoy it the way it is or with some modifications.

you can try pantene curl control shampoo..

and cutting your hair short (shoulder length) will help to control it..

Blow dry it straight first, then use a flat iron. Finish off with a non frizz serum.

Getting it done at a salon is far easier. Believe me.

Ok, I'm not sure if this is what you need but I have curly hair and I always have problems with it, frizz, dryness, not tame, and hard to handle. So, I learned sooner than not that it doesn't matter what you do, if you try and straighten it with that japanese straighening stuff, your hair will be nasty and dry and some parts may even fall out. It will not be a pretty site. I think what you should try is getting control of your curls.

Instead of towel drying your hair, get out of the shower and ring it out, then place a few drops of citri shine gloss in your hair, brush it out and then let it air dry.

You can also try getting your hair blow once every few days if it's an emergency, then keep it in a pony tail at night and use a shower cap, that way it will hold longer.

Otherwise, just get a good cut for curls, don't towel dry and use a gloss in your hair, use a good shampoo and conditioner for unruly hair, and try and sleep in a pony tail when you get it blown dry. It pays to stop fighting with your hair and start enjoying it, curls are beautiful!

your so lucky. i have long bone straight hair and hate it. i cant curl it because it wont stay. you can straighten your hair and it will last a bit longer. i love your type of hair.

If you are tired of curls there are parlors who does Japanese perm or better called straight perms. Depending on how long you want to keep your hair and where you want to go the cost will vary widely. I would suggest keeping your perms and simply apply a mouse without combing if you haven't already tried that. I loved it when I had those spirals done until my wavy hair came back. I had my hair straightened too. Now I just apply serum to avoid getting frizzy hair.

try going to a japanese/chinese hair salon and tell them to straighten it for you with that thing they use... it'll stay straight for 6 months... make sure its a good place otherwise your hair will be completely damaged after 3 months!

There are two options. Number 1, you can cut it around chin height. Number 2, you can take a shower and blow dry your hair. Then curl it. ( My cousin knows how to handle and cut hair.)

Go to a salon and have them straighten your hair professionally. It wil lhold longer than when you do it. Plus they can give you products to keep it straight and hints to help along the way.

Try perming hair or straight products from Herbal essences Like shampoo and leave in conditioner. Like many users said, avoid straighteners. If you don't mind cutting it cut it from Regis. They leave in conditioner. While getting haircut you can just tell them you wanna perm it also. But yeah, best choice get hair permed straight.
