Layered Curly Hair?

I have really long curly hair and i was thinking of getting it layered but Im scared it will go too thin, does layering it make it thinner or not?

I actually have quite thin curly hair, but I have it layered as well - doesnt make it too thin at all! Helps with the curl as well, so you dont end up with flat hair at the top and all your curl at the bottom! (dont worry, doesnt make it afro though!)

I always get my hair layered and i have thick hair also. It does thin it out some but not enough to make your hair super thin. Go For it it would be a change.

I THINK YOU SHOULD GET YOUR HAIR STRAIGHTEN AND THEN GET IT LAYERED CAUSE IT MAY NOT LOOK RIGHT WITH CURLY HAIR!

layering doesn't really make it thinner just adds more volume and bounce and shape! But you can get it thinned out by hairdressers! just ask them -x-

it well most deafeningly not make your hair thin if anything it well make your hair thicking, most people with thin or thinning hair well get layers to make it look more thick so if you want more thickness it would be good but if i were you i wouldnt do it. i have very thick/curly shoulder length hair and i got it layerd and it was a horrible mess, you should get herbalessences totally twisted shampoo and conditiner and gel you hair well be the best hope ive been a help.

i have thick wavy hair and i have it layered because it makes it less frizzy. whether it will go too thin depends on your hair. if you have thin hair, then i wouldn't recommend it. but if you have thicker hair then go for it! x
