Frizzy curly hair?

my hair is naturally pretty curly and frizzy, and i straighten it pretty much every day because thats the only way i like it. if you have the same problem, what has worked best for you to get soft, smooth curls or waves?

This has been my problem my whole life! The best thing I found is to trim my hair once a month, but first start by really cutting a lot of the dead ends off. As curly hair tends to have a lot of dry ends than I use a deep conditioner once a week to help with the dryness. Daily there are two good products, one Pantene gel for curly hair is pretty good, two Helen Curtis (an orange creme for curly hair only to be found at Sally's) works great, but is a little pricey for daily use. My hair is much better now!

I generally use a mousse (sp?) that is made for curly hair. I also let it air-dry instead dry with a dryer.

I, too have frizzy curly hair. I have given up trying to straighten it it- that was killing my hair! I use Aveda Sap Moss shampoo, Pantene conditioner and the saving grace of all is Finesse Mousse. Yep, cheap ol' Finesse. I love it, and it keeps all the frizz under control even in high humidity!
