How to recovering my curly hair?
Eat curly fries.
No, seriously. The other person was right. Go to the hair salon or beauty shop and see if they can give you a style with a curl in it like you once had, or one you find you like better.
If possible, take a photo of your hair how it looked before, that you liked.
Most beauty parlors/salons have a bunch of magazines and books in them with photos of models with all kinds of hairstyles. If you get to your appointment an hour early, you can look through them. You might find a style better than the one you have in the photo you brought with you.
If you can't find a big/regular photo of yourself with your old hairstyle, you could probably just show them your photo on your driver's license or some other photo ID.
While you are there, ask the stylist about their hair care products. Chances are, they have a conditioner, styling gel, spritzer, or some other such thing that you can use with your hair afterwards to keep it curly between visits.
You can also look into some home use products like a curling iron, or hair curlers. Those are both pretty popular. To some extent, a plain old styling/curling brush might help a little.
You have lots of options/tricks you can do to get your hair the way you like it. Check with your friends. They might have experience with these products and perhaps could steer you towards some good ones or tell you how best to use them.
Also, women's beauty/fashion magazines might be of some help in this area. They are so full of advice. (grin/groan)

Hmm, maybe you should go to the hair salon. I now this girl who used to hve curly hair, and now has straight hair. And she went to the hair salon to get her curly hair back, and it worked. And it was permanent.
