I have the same sort of hair and it can be a handful - try using Charles Worthington's Shine Shine Glossing Spray, its only about 鎷? something from Boots or Superdrug, and it smells nice, is super easy to just spray on and flattens down the frizz and turns it into glossy curls!

if your hair is naturally curly....after you straighten it spray some water...(not a lot)...in your hair...it will look wavy but not too curly...thats how i do mine...
and try sunsilk leave in stuff..not the shampoo or conditioner...its in a green bottle and it works on me..

Do you have layers? I've always had wavy hair, getting layers made it go properly curly when I left it to dry naturally, and I can straighten it too, so a few choices.
Either way, use a texturising gum or wax or a curl enhancing creme when your hair is damp, scrunch it into your hair and it will encourage the curl and stop it looking too frizzy and messy. Also try John Frieda Frizz Ease.

I have the same problem with my hair and one that I personally like is when you get out of the shower style your hair the way that you want and put moose in it or put moose in before you style it and then let it dry but keep moose on you cause it might start to come out for some reason i dont know how to full proof it yet.

Marion! I have long wavy/curly hair sometimes i straighten it or at times I like to curl it. Not with curling irons but rollers. They are fantastic and there are so many different types of curl you can have. You should at least give them a try. Soft curls look really lovely.
Lollie you are so lucky to have that colour of hair it sounds gorgeous (I love black hair) I'm a Redhead!

Try John Freidas Frizz Ease serum - all you have to in the morning is spritz with water, put a small amount of serum in your hands and run your fingers through your hair. This will cut out the 'frizz' and you can even define a few curls with it by just running your fingers over them.
I have had the same problem as you for years and have used Frizz Ease shampoos and conditioners too - now I wear it curly all the time and only go through the bother of straightening it for a change now and then. Plus straigtening wrecks your hair.
Good luck!

Have you tried the Sedusa? I saw it when I went to the Clothes Show Live got carried away when I saw the demonstration and bought it.
That said it really makes my hair look curly and it only takes 5 minutes. Way easier than tongs. It looks a bit mad .... a diffuser with loads of curly springs in. But you don't move it around, just put your hair in and leave it drying.
At the end you get curly hair that stays curly. Here's the website anyway.
