Curly hair in the heat?

does anyone know someway in the heat of summer to be able to keep your hair down that is curly and not have it frizzy and poofy?

Curly hair in the heat?

don't touch it, because the more you mess with it, the more frizzy it gets. You need anti humectant products...to keep out moisture. Aveda makes a nice line. Just don't run your hands in it and the curls should be ok.

I use Sunsilk anti-frizz cream....it works beautifully!!!

I use a little Biosilk oil, you can get it at Trade Secret. A little goes a long way so don't go crazy with it ! If your hair is as crazy as mine, put a little in your hair while it is still damp after shampooing, then style like normal, then put another little dab of the biosilk on your hair after it is dry. The sprayable Biosilk also works well for hair when it's dry or for a little extra shine or a touch up for afternoon frizzies. It really does help once you figure out the correct amount to use on your particular hair.

I've been using sunsilk anti poof, been helping a lot. also don't mess w/ it. ... that's the toughest thing... the more we mess w/ our curly hair in heat and humidity the more out of control it goes.

I personally LOVE Aveda Anti Humectant... applied to wet or dried hair... it provides a barrier from the humidity... if you want to attract humidity use the Aveda humectant... please use either product sparingly as they can make the hair heavy and look greasy if overdone... use a little at a time

good luck
