Ideas on how to dry really curly hair?

I have naturally curly hair. I mean REALLY curly. Regardless of what I use in my hair I've never been able to use a hair dryer, that is unless I wanted a fro. I tried waking up early to let my hair dry naturally but it takes hours. I hate leaving the house with wet hair, any ideas?

Buy a diffuser from any beatuty supply store. I have super super curly hair and it works fine. You wash and condition your hair, let it dry in the towel for a few minutes, take it out of the towel and brush it out, flip your head upside down and apply mousee-use a scrunching motion to work the mousee in. keep your head upside down the whole time you blow dry and continue to scrunch until your hair is dry. This will make curls look natural and soft and DRY!

I'm in the same boat, but to be honest naturally drying is the only good way that I've found. I usually try to be home for about a half hour before I leave though to give it enough time to dry in the house without frizzing like crazy. Hair dryers don't work on our hair because the heat reacts with the water in the hair causing humidity and we all know what that does.

have u tried drying it with a fan?

i know it sounds stupid, but my mom dries her hair with it..it will take longer than using a hairdryer, but its faster then letting it air dry

also in ur wet hair put some serum and that should help it be more glossy and easier to dry

Straighten it, I have really curly hair too. I also use John Frieda's secret weapon to defrizz my hair and it works perfectly.

Round brush will work and use some straightening balm on your hair. Products really make the difference. You can then get some LARGE velcro rollers and pin your hair up.

You will be just fine.

I also have naturally curly hair. I have been told to use a diffuser, but I never tried it. I just let mine air dry. I use the Matrix Curl Life products. They are awesome. Hope this helps.

I use this one:

you can get anywhere like Target

It blows but through those fingers and from the top and doesn't blow the hair all over.

dryers that blow your hair around just makes really big hair. you need to find a dryer that will dry your hair in place and not while it flies all over. Also dry a section at a time without disturbing your hair too much - such as brushing while it's drying or combing over and over. Just let your hair be and dry one part at a time and you can finger or fluff it as necessary once it is dry (from underneath).
