My hair is really curly and i want 2 know how 2 get rid of the frizzy and puffyness.?

Ive went everywhere asking these questions and everything that people have told me doesnt work i love that i have curly hair but i need 2 know how 2 wear it down people are starting 2 get suspisios y i have ben wearing my hair up 4 2 years straight now please help me

My hair is really curly and i want 2 know how 2 get rid of the frizzy and puffyness.?

I use Sunsilk Anti-Frizz shampoo and conditioner (Green bottles with a brunette female with long wavy hair) and my hair does not poof very much.

Yes, I am a male, but I have about 7 inch long hair. My hair is also naturally wavy so mine would poof if I did not use the Anti-Frizz stuff. I also use leave-in conditioner that works wonders.

the best thing that i can do for my curly hair is use pantene sleek and straight conditioner. do not rub your hair with the towel, just comb with a wide tooth comb and apply redken thickening lotion as a gel. then let air dry completely. do not shake your head or touch your hair while it is drying!

Try these products. They're really really good for defining and making pretty curls.

Plus when you're drying your hair...using a diffuser will help to define the curl and reduce frizz. = )

good luck = )

sunsilk the green kind shampoo, conditioner, and 24/7 creme. i totally guarantee that it works and it smells soooo good! treseme mousturizes your hair really good, so it'll help cut down on the poofy-ness. if your hair is naturally thick, then go to your local salon and get it thinned.

frizz ease is another product you can try for you frizzy hair. i dont know if it works, because i have never really tried it. alot of people recommend it, and i have had two friends that purchased and used it. one said it was a miracle for her hair, the other said it did absolutely nothing and you had to buy like 6 "steps" for your hair and in the end it costed her like $20.

but thatever you do, DONT USE ANY PANTENE OR GARNIER PRODUCT! pantene has awful chemcials in it that ruin your hair and garnier makes you hair frizzy, tangled, dry, and completely unmanageble!

hope i helped and good luck.

10 points?

I myself have really curly hair and it is about 1/3 of the way down my back when wet, just below my shoulders when dry. I use the Dove Extensive moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. I never dry my hair and I put John Freida (I think is what brand it is) anyway it is Frizz Ease curl enhancer. Spray it all over your hair and let it dry naturally. Never comb or brush your hair once it is dry. I have tried many, many products but this seems to work better than anything else I've tried. Good luck

Besides styling products to keep the frizz off, I focus on drying etc - in the summer, I roll my hair on giant rollers. Not to put it into a curly style, per se, but to get all of the hair going in the same direction. Then if I want my style to be almost board straight, I go over it with a blow dryer and a brush. Letting hair dry naturally is healthier of course, but the hairs go where they want, which at least for me, is why my hair looks frizzy.

Or I blow dry it (completely) immediately after just barely using a towel (rubbing my head to get the water off makes my hair even more frizzy), and then use the biggest electric rollers I can. I don't necessarily leave the rollers in until they are cool so my hair has a really curley style, but I take them out after a couple of minutes just to get those hairs going in the same direction, and so for me, less frizz.

I too use Pantene "Smooth and Sleek" conditioner.

I've tried perming/straightening my hair but it barely worked and damaged my hair. There is that new "Asian" method that really works (on "virgin" hair) but I hear it costs like $1000 or something.

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.
